The First Ever Orc-Sung Music
Solo! (I feel pretty confident saying
that...)
"My Eye"
was the first routine performed under the group
name, the "Prancing Pony Players" (P3).
It was written as a showpiece for the "Littlest
Orc" character, who performed with the One Ring
Circus and later with P3. She is such a
delightfully shy and retiring little orc, we
wanted to give her the spotlight! My Eye was
first performed at the 50th Anniversary
Celebration for The Lord of the Rings at
the first One Ring Celebration Convention in early
2005 with the Littlest Orc, and Frodo and Sam as
the backup singers. It was performed again,
solo, at WonderCon 2005, and then once more at the
Middle Earth Festival in March 2005 - this time
using the entire group! A versatile
piece!

"My Eye" -
lyrics
and main vocals by Cordelia Willis
- a spoof on "My
Guy" by Mary
Wells
Littlest
Orc:
Nothing you can say can
tear me away from My Eye Nothing you can
do, 'cause I'm stuck like glue to My
Eye Like the evil wizard with his
Uruk-hai I will stay with my eye 'til I
die There's not a man today who can take me
away from My Eye.
Nothing you can kill
could make me turn ill from My Eye (My
Eye) And no way you could fight could make me
take Flight from My Eye (My Eye, My
Eye) And now that he's a movie star He'll
conquer Middle Earth and he'll go far I'm
tellin' you from the start I can't be torn apart
from My Eye.
On the tower of Barad-dur
he's aflame on the top! The Easterlings'
opinion: He's the cream of the crop! As the
Nazgul fly their fell-beasts 'round We'll
strike the armies 'til they're dead in the
ground!
No muscle-bound Man could take my
hand from My Eye (My Eye) And no handsome
face could ever take the place of My Eye (My
Eye, My Eye) He promised to give me a Ring of
Power We'll live happily ever after in his
tower! There's not a man today who could take
me away from My Eye.
No
muscle-bound Man could take my hand from My
Eye (My Eye) And no handsome face could ever
take the place of My Eye (My Eye, My
Eye) He promised to give me a Ring of
Power We'll live happily ever after in his
tower There's not a man today who could take
me away from My Eye (What'chew
say?) There's not an elf today who could take
me away from My Eye (Tell me
more!) There's not a dwarf today who could
take me away from My Eye (What's
that?) There's not a Man today who could take
me away from My Eye
